Every tag had some thought put behind it when it was chosen. Here are some of the stories as related by the owners. Some of these are quite cute while others may hit you from a different angle.
2MYHERO - The lady works with injured veterans. Her son was hurt while stationed in the lastest war in the Middle East so she dedicates herself and the tag to those who fight for our country.
KIDSNO1 - Where else would you expect to see this tag but on the back of a white Chevy Suburban.
NOMOBUG - Located on a pesticide truck.
CREM8UM - A student of mortuary science has the expression "cremate them". Good use of the number 8.
GRYMRPR - The grim reaper has visited this little pickup truck. A great painting on the tailgate supports the tag.
5TOLOVE - Another white Chevy Suburban with enough seating for all the family.
U A E - "It's the country I come from . . . United Arab Emirates."
MUDNYRI - Here's mud in your eye. A public slap at his ex-wife that despite what she said about him, he did become successful.
PR4MNC - On a Porsche, it spells Performance! There was a meeting of close to forty of these fire crackers in Payson and I was fortunate to grab a few.
IMZ - Initials for Mr. Zulu's name. Don't ask me to pronounce his first name.
TAN S - This tag belongs to Tanya with a last name that starts with an 'S". Of course.
crem8umThere are better times to buy a tag but the best time is when the 'expression' you have to have is available. Many states provide for a second and third alternative so come up with at least that many if you have to have it today.
As a suggestion, you may have to substitute numbers for letters like the number 0 for the letter O or the number 1 for the letter L if your choice is already taken.
Since there are only five to seven characters available to use, some shortcuts may be necessary such as the numbers 2 for the word "to" as in LV2GRDN, 4 for "for" as in 4REDHDS or 8 to complete a word like gr8 for "great" or l8 for "late". I've even seen N2 as a shorcut for "into" as in N2BNFIT. Click on the WHERE tab above to find which expressions may be available in the state your car is registered.
